Actions & Java is a configurable Java modpack that recreates the visual style of Actions and Stuff alongside Realistic Biomes, combining animation, texture, and visual-effect changes while letting players add or remove mods and resource packs. It adds first- and third-person player animations, including actions such as swimming, flying, swinging, mining, placing blocks, and throwing snowballs, as well as animated mobs and armor with physics. The pack also includes custom textures, 3D item and armor models, improved enchantment glints, arrow trails, and effects such as immersive fog, sunrays, changing skies, water visuals, and weather scenes including storms and meteor showers. Its showcased environments include lush caves, mangrove swamps, jungles, a creaking forest, the Deep Dark, the Soul Valley, and the Badlands, alongside locations and structures such as villages, jungle temples, ancient cities, and trial chambers. Players can disable the custom texture packs to restore vanilla textures or selectively turn off other included resource packs and mods.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.11 路 Fabric, 25 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 21 May 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 66 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 47 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 47 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
