Arc is a configurable Minecraft shader designed to provide realistic, high-quality visuals while keeping performance impact low. It adds HDR and volumetric lighting, fog and smoke, adjustable exposure, bloom, depth of field, water waves and refraction, and several shadow-mapping options; supported PhysicsMod effects include ocean waves and snow. Atmosphere settings include a choice between a simple blended sky and a computed realistic atmosphere, along with sun angle and haze or cave fog controls. Material options include parallax depth, subsurface scattering and reflections, with support for LabPBR and OldPBR resource packs as well as Patrix’s combined format; vanilla textures use material values built into the shader by default. Users can tune settings for the world, materials, atmosphere, shadows, camera and effects, including shadow filtering and resolution, ambient brightness, block-light color temperature, and wind-driven foliage movement. The shader is designed for OptiFine and Iris, though global illumination using reflective shadow mapping is not available with Iris.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.3.
Changes how the game looks: 34 shader programs, for the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.3.
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
