Spring Shaders (Chun) is a shader pack designed to give Minecraft a fresh, tranquil spring atmosphere with soft, bright colors and a nature-focused look. Its lighting combines soft shadows, ambient occlusion, cloud shadows, and dynamic light from handheld items, with optional path-traced global illumination and colored lighting available through Iris. The sky and weather include atmospheric scattering and fog, volumetric fog and clouds, godrays, distinct sunrise and sunset hues, and effects tailored to night, rain, the Nether, and the End. Water features three wave patterns, parallax, refraction, reflections, caustics, and dispersion, alongside underwater fog and volumetric effects. Materials support normal mapping, smooth and voxel parallax, physically based reflections and specular highlights, plus rain puddles, ripples, and wet-surface reflections. Foliage moves naturally, while post-processing options include bloom, auto exposure, tone mapping, motion blur, depth of field, vignette, and temporal anti-aliasing. The pack supports Distant Horizons, Voxy with basic or partial support, Kaleidoscope Cookery, Farmer's Delight, and Biomes O' Plenty.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 69 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English and Chinese. Has programs for Distant Horizons and Voxy.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
