Ace's Spell Utils is a developer API for creating add-ons to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, providing reusable classes, methods, and visual effects rather than a standalone set of player-facing content. Its entity tools support custom-model spellcasting mobs with long, instant, and continuous casting animations, melee spellcasters, and bosses, including boss phases and configurable default, transition, or alternate music. Spellcasting mobs can use a combo goal to cast a chosen sequence of spells, while the API also supplies custom spell schools themed around occult magic, water, and technology. Item-building classes cover imbueable or preset-imbue curios and staffs, sheaths with custom player-model rendering, maces, active or passive ability swords, magic guns, loot bags, and passive-ability spellbooks. Developers can also draw on attributes such as Mana Steal, Mana Rend, Hunger Steal, Evasive, Goliath Slayer, and spell-resistance penetration, as well as custom item rarities. The visual-effects tools include camera shake, expanding colored domes that also trigger a brief shake, screen-distorting roars, impact-frame screen flashes, chromatic aberration, and trails and ribbons that follow moving entities. These effects offer configurable behavior such as color, duration, easing, and falloff, and trails can place particles along an entity's actual path so fast-moving projectiles remain visually continuous. The API further includes an abstract summon-spell class, shader and emissive Geckolib armor rendering support, and example items that let developers preview visual effects in game.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas, as a library other mods build on: PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and Mobs and their behaviorChanges 1 game code file in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 27 items and 1 mob.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 8 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 2 points.
