    About

    Amplified Nether refreshes vanilla Nether terrain, raising its height to 256 blocks and creating a more dramatic, amplified landscape without adding new biomes, items, mobs, or structures. Its world generation features varied terrain types, Nether mountains inspired by the original Nether Update trailer, and extensive 3D biomes that can change with elevation, so the biome at a mountain’s base may differ from the one at its peak. Biome boundaries are also much less restrictive, allowing any Nether biome to border any other.
