About
Armor Hider lets you customize how equipped armor and equipment appear on player models, from fully hidden to partially transparent, without changing the items themselves. Separate opacity controls cover the helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, and offhand, while enchantment glint can be hidden per slot; options also let skulls follow the helmet setting and elytras follow the chest slot. Combat detection can reveal armor when a player deals or takes damage, and resource-pack users can choose to switch to vanilla armor models during combat. You can decide whether armor remains visible under the invisibility effect, preview changes on your player in-game, and save preferred setups as presets. When the mod is installed on a server, player settings and combat events are synchronized so others can see armor according to each player's configuration; server operators can also enforce rules such as showing armor in combat or while invisible. It can also run client-side without a server installation, with settings for how other players are rendered, including individual player configurations where the server permits them. Armor Hider is compatible with armor resource packs using EMF as well as standard armor models, and integrates with visual and equipment mods including GeckoLib, Elytra Trims, Wavey Capes, and Accessories, Trinkets, or Curios.
