    Better Boat Movement makes boating, including ice boating, more capable of crossing obstacles by automatically boosting boats over reachable blocks, using their collision shapes to avoid attempting jumps over obstacles they cannot clear. Players can optionally trigger a single manual jump per keypress, with configurable jump behavior and controls. Automatic boosts can be configured for different boat states, such as being underwater, on land, in water, or under flowing water, and settings can limit boosts by supporting or colliding blocks or to boats carrying players. Fabric, NeoForge, Paper, Folia, and Purpur servers support the mod’s movement behavior; Paper-family servers can provide automatic boosts to vanilla clients, while a modded client adds smoother jump prediction and access to optional manual jumping and synchronized server settings.
