About
Better Paragliders connects Paraglider’s stamina system with Better Combat, adding stamina management as an extra consideration during combat. Basic melee attacks consume stamina, with costs influenced by factors such as weapon damage, tier, attack duration, reach, and configurable settings; bows drain stamina while being drawn, and crossbows while being cocked. Shield blocking also uses stamina according to the damage absorbed, and the shield cannot be raised again until stamina has recovered if the player runs out. Server settings let administrators adjust stamina consumption and the effects applied when stamina is depleted, while attributes can modify costs and regeneration, including for swimming and time spent idle or underwater. Datapacks can set custom stamina costs for melee weapons, ranged weapons, and shields, allowing modpack creators to tune individual items. The mod also supports Tetra and other mods that modify weapon damage attributes, and its stamina attributes can be used with systems such as Pufferfish’s Skills or Project MMO.
