    About

    Bionisation 3 is a survival mod centered on viruses and bacteria that can infect players, mobs, and items, with infection threats present on land, in the air and underwater, as well as in the Infected Forest biome. Infected mobs emerge at night and can spread disease through the air or by attacking, while infected items can pass their effects to anyone who wears or picks them up. Players manage immunity and blood: lower immunity makes infections stronger, while bleeding, internal bleeding and fractures can reduce blood enough to become fatal. Herbs and ingredients found in the world can be used with the Herbal Station and Vaccine Creator to make cures and vaccines, and the Disinfector removes infection from items. With the DNA Former and Virus Replicator, players can design viruses from genes that combine potion effects, airborne or attack-based spread, mind control, explosions, burning and mutation; some existing viruses can also mutate their DNA. Abandoned Laboratory dungeons contain machines, ingredients, gene vials, reagents, blood vials and symbiont vials, whose symbionts can grant beneficial effects and immunity to specific infections. Bio armor helps protect against airborne viruses and infected items and makes survival in the Infected Forest easier. The mod also includes a guidebook for its survival mechanics and cures, JEI recipe compatibility, and configurable options.
