    About

    ChatNotify helps you notice important Minecraft chat messages by letting you create notifications that activate when configured triggers match incoming chat. A notification can highlight the matching text and play a sound, with per-notification controls for highlight color and formatting, sound choice, volume, and pitch. Triggers can match ordinary text without case sensitivity, message translation keys, or regular expressions, while inclusion and exclusion rules let you narrow which matching messages activate an alert. You can inspect recent messages in a trigger editor, preview filtering and restyling, and set a separate style target to highlight a different part of a message than the text that matched. Notifications can also send automatic chat responses or trigger CommandKeys macros, and custom messages can replace the usual sound-and-highlight behavior. The mod also raises the maximum chat-height slider setting to 500 pixels.
