A modpack that makes ice boat racing easier to play.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 86 graded mods, 76 are graded A or B, 7 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 4 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.4. See the mods
Ice Boat Racing is a near-vanilla modpack that streamlines Minecraft boat racing with performance optimizations and tools for clearer, smoother competitive play. BoatCam turns the camera toward your momentum, while OpenBoatUtils enables racing on high-friction surfaces such as stone and grass, making rally-style land tracks possible; Bobby caches chunks to reduce loading delays as you speed along a course. A customizable race HUD displays speed, lap time, and position without overlapping other interface elements, and the pack includes settings for BoatCam and performance-focused mods such as Sodium and Lithium. The pack also provides a curated list of community servers, including BoatLabs for time-attack records and medal goals from Bronze through Diamond, and FrostHex for public Formula-style races, rally tracks, and weekly time-attack battles. On the supplied servers, the TimingSystem tracks lap times and checkpoints and supports pit stops, while server commands let players browse or travel to tracks and check leaderboards.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.4 · Fabric, 19 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 23 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 88 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of 87 of its 88 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 88 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
