    About

    Chat Tools is a customizable client-side mod for managing, searching, formatting, and responding to Minecraft chat, with rules that can be tailored to different servers. It can add timestamps, restore messages from previous sessions, hide your nickname from your own view, and retain a configurable amount of chat history that you can search. A built-in translator can be started from the chat bar, while notifications can use toast pop-ups, custom sounds, action-bar alerts, and highlighted message prefixes, with allow and ban lists to control which messages match. Message-formatting patterns can add styles or personalized suffixes and replace placeholders such as {pos} with your current coordinates; formatting can also be disabled for matching text such as commands or item counts. Hotkeys can repeat the last command or run assigned commands, and configurable chat bubbles display messages above players with server-specific rules. Optional automatic responses and chat filtering use configurable rules to respond to or filter incoming messages.
