POKELAND is a Pokémon-focused Minecraft modpack that combines Cobblemon with fantasy exploration, building, survival, and trainer battles. Its world features exotic Overworld biomes and fantasy biomes in the Nether and End, alongside locations such as Pokémon villages, Pokémon Centers, Brock’s and Misty’s gyms, an ice cave, a power plant, Nether temples, and dungeons. Explore ruins, temples, and other structures while catching and training Pokémon, taking on rival trainers and legendary creatures, and working toward becoming the region’s top trainer. Battles include Mega Evolutions that are available only during combat and require specific items; Pokémon Centers bring merchants selling Pokémon items, and a gacha machine offers additional items for Pokémon. The pack also adds building blocks and materials, fantasy trees and decorations, new food recipes, weapons and armor, and copper tools, giving players options for constructing gyms, bases, and larger settlements. In Pokémon battles, losing your final Pokémon also eliminates you, and defeating Pokémon can grant experience orbs.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 5 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 3 Jan 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
14 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 308 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 17 of the 308 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
