Cobblemon.gg is a server-focused modpack that pairs Cobblemon’s Pokémon-catching and battling gameplay with custom challenges and systems for a competitive multiplayer community. Players can explore biome-based spawns and collect more than 900 Pokémon species, while using Poké Snacks to influence nearby spawns and breeding Pokémon for IVs, egg moves, and shinies. The server adds eight type-themed gyms with prerequisite quests, followed by an Elite Four gauntlet and Champion battle, as well as raids and trap-, maze-, and puzzle-filled PvE dungeons with tiered difficulties and rewards. Hourly shiny and legendary Scout events announce locations in the Resource World, sending players to search and compete to catch the rare Pokémon. Other progression systems include Mega Evolution, clan competitions and PvP leaderboards, a player economy with auctions, and trainer combat skills. The pack also emphasizes smoother performance and presentation, with optimization mods, real-time lighting and shadows, 3D acoustics, and interface helpers for game information and advancement tracking.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 14 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 5 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 109 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 104 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 104 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
4 other mods show AI use only from after this release (14 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
