Adds 19 curses to the game, and gives enchanting the chance to apply one.
35.4 of the 61 points that apply = 58 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Cursery adds item curses that make gear more dangerous to use while leaving it usable, and can introduce a curse when an enchantment is added, making perfectly enchanted equipment harder to obtain. Its curses have different effects depending on the item: armor can inflict blindness, poison, weakness, or slowness when its wearer is hit, while tools may harvest more slowly, explode, or strike their user with lightning. Other effects include helmets that can trigger frightening sounds or drop an anvil on the wearer, boots that increase fall damage or knock the wearer from ladders, and bows that can recoil or fire a weak arrow. Some curses also create unusual trade-offs, such as chest armor that consumes food to restore health when hit, or a daylight-sensitive helmet curse that grants water breathing outside daylight but may set its wearer on fire during the day. Settings let players exclude particular curses or treasure enchantments from curse application and adjust the base chance, which rises with the number of enchantments on an item; the chance can also be limited to enchanted or non-enchanted items. Cursery works with other modded enchantments and curse enchantments, allowing those enchantments to participate in the curse system.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: Inventory and itemsChanges 6 game code files in this area: items, chests and other containers, crafting and enchanting., Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and PlayerChanges 2 game code files in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls..
Adds 20 enchantments.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
