Arcane Colony: The Tinker’s Age is a modpack about building a Minecolonies settlement while exploring a world that combines magic, technology, survival, and combat. For technology, players can use Tinkers’ Construct, Railcraft, and Immersive Engineering to make contraptions, forge modular golems, fly Immersive Aircraft, and protect a base with force fields. Its magic systems range from growing nature spirits with Roots Classic and Nature’s Aura to spellbooks and rituals in Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks, Wizard’s Reborn, and Enchanted: Witchcraft. Exploration leads through large dungeons from When Dungeons Arise, taverns and towns from Dungeons and Taverns, improved vanilla structures from Yung’s Better Structures, and Nether and End structures from Moog’s. Combat brings Brutal Bosses and L_Ender’s Cataclysm monsters, with loot and equipment including Nameless Trinkets, Immersive Armors, Spartan Shields, and Fantasy Armor with traits and trim effects. For day-to-day survival, players can cook with Farmer’s Delight, manage food variety through Spice of Life: Carrot & Onion, store supplies in Storage Drawers, travel between villages using Waystones, and use Totemic rituals. Alex’s Mobs and Naturalist add animals and other creatures, while Stellarity and Wythers Expanded Ecosphere provide varied environments to discover.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 24 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 7 Feb 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 187 of its 188 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 120 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
7 other mods show AI use only from after this release (24 May 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
67 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
