    About

    Dasik Library is a shared Fabric library and API for other Dasik mods, providing reusable infrastructure rather than adding its own items, creatures, or world generation. Its genetics system can persist animal lineage and inherited traits across saves, model mutation and inbreeding, and link an animal’s size to attributes such as health, speed, and attack damage or to the amount of loot it yields. The library also lets dependent mods register custom GameRules at runtime, supplies readable translations and categories, saves rule changes with the world, and removes rules left behind when a registering mod is uninstalled. For social behavior, its signal bus supports alerts and other signals scoped to a species, herd, or the wider world, while leader-follower flocking strategies coordinate aerial and terrestrial groups. It also provides mod developers with shared APIs and optional configuration-screen integration, designed to keep client-only GUI classes from loading on dedicated servers.
