    DefaultSettings helps modpack creators ship default client settings without erasing players’ personal settings whenever the pack is updated. Its /defaultsettings command saves and manages settings such as keybindings, general and OptiFine options, resource-pack order, and the server list, allowing them to be included for new users while preserving existing users’ choices. Creators can choose to distribute changes to these settings in later updates, rather than having every saved default overwrite local settings automatically.
