Mining gives you stones, ore, and uncut gems to craft with.

Divergent Underground expands Minecraft’s mining and ore-processing experience with a middle ground between semi-realism and vanilla-style simplicity. Naturally generated stone and ore-bearing blocks drop corresponding items instead of blocks, and ores and gems also yield the expected stone; stones can be recompressed into cobblestone with a 2×2 recipe, including andesite, diorite, and granite cobblestone. Ore items can be smelted directly by default, while uncut gems can be shaped with a chisel for a small amount of experience; both behaviors can be configured, and ore items also support custom processing recipes. The mod divides the underground into four strata that become darker with depth using resource-pack-compatible overlays, and their colors can be changed in the configuration. Deeper strata make mining slower and require higher-tier tools to harvest drops when slowdown is enabled, while exposed blocks become easier to mine; these mechanics affect generated blocks only. An optional compression mechanic adjusts stone hardness according to nearby blocks, so exposed patches can soften over time. Ore and stone blocks from other mods can be wrapped to use the mod’s drops while retaining the ore types supplied by the world’s existing generation setup; Divergent Underground does not add ore generation, unify ores or ingots, or change block textures.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 1 sound: Boulder Falling; 24 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
