Dynamic Sword Skills is a standalone combat-focused mod that brings the sword skills from Zelda Sword Skills to Minecraft without its Zelda-themed items, mobs, dungeons, or other additions. Players begin with the Basic Sword skill, which locks onto a nearby target and enables chained attacks whose damage grows with each successive strike; more skills are learned from orbs found in chests or dropped by creatures and other players, with Looting improving drop chances. Its skills offer varied approaches to combat: dodge or parry attacks, circle behind an enemy for a Back Slice, charge in with a shield-based Dash Attack, or build a combo toward a risky, high-damage Ending Blow. Other techniques include the Leaping Blow’s area attack and weakness effect, a timed Mortal Draw counterattack, a Rising Cut that launches an enemy, and Spin Attacks that can hit surrounding foes. At full health, players can extend a Spin Attack into a Super Spin Attack or fire a Sword Beam, while Sword Break can damage an opponent’s held weapon when timed against an incoming attack. The in-game Skill Book explains learned skills and their effects, and configurable settings govern aspects of orb acquisition and skill activation.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.6.4 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
