    About

    Fabric Enchantments expands the enchantment system with new effects for weapons, bows, crossbows, armor, and tools, many of which alter combat or provide situational utility. Weapon enchantments include Consume, which can restore hunger after a kill, Ice Aspect and Poison Aspect for slowing or poisoning targets, Experience for extra kill XP, Beheading for a chance to obtain heads from creepers, zombies, and skeletons, and Paralysis for briefly freezing a target. Bows can use Rise to lift targets and Sniper to increase damage at long range; crossbows can gain close-range damage with Shotgun, a chance to call lightning with Charged Bolt, homing projectiles with Soul Seeker, or a sonic beam with Pulse that trades slower charging and extra durability for targeting the nearest mob. Armor effects include Tank for extra hearts, Ender Mind for a short escape teleport when hit at low health, Nocturnal for nighttime invisibility that breaks when the wearer takes damage, Sugar Rush for speed and jump boosts after a kill, Pumpkin Head for safely looking at endermen, Glimmering to deter piglins, and Bewitching to automatically use appropriate potions in dangerous situations. Tool enchantments can give an axe a chance to swing twice, call lightning on a target, or smelt blocks as they are mined; Replenish lets a hoe consume seeds and replant crops as they are harvested. Configuration files let players disable enchantments individually and adjust ability chances and durations.
