About
Fishing Real changes fishing so that catches can spawn as live entities instead of giving you the corresponding item, such as catching a live salmon in place of a salmon item. Its item-to-entity conversions are defined with datapacks, letting players add mappings and reload them to fish for new entities; results can include entity NBT to specify details such as a tropical fish’s variant. Datapacks can also override the mod’s mappings for cod, pufferfish, salmon, and tropical fish.
