    About

    FTB Backups 2 automates Minecraft world backups, with configurable scheduling using cron notation and an option to run a backup immediately. You can set how many backups to retain, choose whether backup notices go only to operators or to everyone, and have backups run only after a player has been online and data has been saved. The mod can include additional directories, selects a compression level automatically, and checks for sufficient disk space before creating a backup to help prevent a failed backup from corrupting the world. It stores backup metadata in JSON for use by backup-management interfaces, and its snapshot command creates a backup protected from automatic cleanup.
