    About

    Guardians Galore adds summonable, tamable animal guardians that protect an area by making nearby hostile mobs despawn. Its 14 animal types include foxes, dragons, deer, roosters, tortoises, wolves, toads, bears, ravens, rabbits, boars, doves, and liondogs, with more than 70 varieties across multiple skins and animations. To summon a guardian, place one of 12 food bowls on an anchor stone; the bowl's contents determine which kind appears. Anchor stones keep guardians near their home base, return them there if they wander too far, and set the reach of their protective effect; blaze bells increase that range, while removing bells decreases it. Guardians can instead be tamed to follow the player, though tamed pets have a smaller protective area than guardians bound to an anchor stone. The mod also adds 18 blocks and 15 crafting recipes.
