Benchmark is a broad Fabric modpack that brings exploration, technology, and magic together, with optional quests to help players learn unfamiliar mods. Its world generation includes lush and dripstone caves, increased world height, new biomes and structures across dimensions, and additional dimensions to explore. Players can encounter friendly and hostile creatures and take on bosses throughout the world. For builders, the pack offers more than 3,000 building blocks, while its technology mods provide machines for automation. Magic content includes alchemy, witchery, and boss summoning. The pack includes around 600 foods, and eating a varied diet can grant extra hearts. Its 600 optional quests offer guidance through the included mods, and quality-of-life additions improve interfaces and ambient sound. Included datapacks add Caves and Cliffs features, enhanced End Cities, and compatibility for Repurposed Structures.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.17.1 · Fabric, 14 Dec 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
16 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 8 Dec 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 322 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of 321 of its 322 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 11 of the 221 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
101 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
