    About

    Hexalia brings folk witchcraft and nature magic into survival and exploration, with progression based on discovering and understanding its systems rather than following a skill tree. Gather wild herbs and crops such as Spirit Bloom, Dreamshroom, Mandrake, and Saltsprout, then refine ingredients into powders and pastes with a Mortar and Pestle or grow herbs in infused soil. Use the Small Cauldron to combine ingredients into brews, or burn pairs of herbs in a Censer to create area effects such as resistance, night vision, or pacified undead. Its magic centers on rituals: the Ritual Table uses salted offerings and nearby mature crops to transmute items, while Celestial Infusion offers a quicker brazier-based process powered by nearby Celestial Blooms. Rituals can also produce enchanted plants with environmental abilities, including Windsong’s projectile-blocking barrier, Nautilite’s temporary conduit-like effects, and Astrylis’s aid to nearby crops and saplings. The mod adds practical magical tools and equipment, from the Hex Focus and Athame to weather-changing idols, protective armor, and utility wearables such as Bogshade Boots and Mandrake-blocking Earplugs. Supernatural creatures add further uses and surprises: Silk Moths can be bred for silk resources, while the food-stealing Cacofey can be tamed to assist with farming. Many systems support automation with dispensers, hoppers, item transport, or redstone, and the mod’s data-driven recipes and expandable behavior are designed to support addons and datapacks.
