Fight dragons and challenging bosses with magic in a vast adventure.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 530 graded mods, 378 are graded A or B, 117 C and 35 D to F. Its last update came out 6 days ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Beyond Ascension is an action-focused adventure and exploration modpack built around survival, discovery, and varied combat and magic playstyles. It adds new biomes and structures, overhauls vanilla structures and features, and revamps the Nether and End. Its added dimensions include the Aether, with floating islands, mythical mobs, and dungeons; Minecells, with deadly dungeons, mobs, bosses, weapons, and spells inspired by Dead Cells; and Macabre, a fleshy world of dangerous mobs, brutal dungeons, and valuable loot. Combat features Epic Fight’s dynamic mechanics, challenging enemies, more than 50 bosses and 100 mobs, and dragons that players can tame or conquer. The pack also includes enhanced gear, custom recipes, quests, and magic, alongside automation with Create and fast travel through Waystones. Xaero’s Minimap, inventory improvements, shader support, and controller support round out the experience, while FTB Teams and quests support multiplayer adventures.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 18 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 15 Oct 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 517 of its 533 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of 476 of its 488 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 28 of the 410 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
78 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
