K-Turrets adds defensive turrets and mobile combat drones to help protect areas and fight hostile mobs. It includes six weapon types: Cobble units fire stone-like materials such as cobblestone or blackstone, Fireball units use explosive powder, Bullet units use bullets, Arrow units use arrows, Brick units use bricks or nether bricks, and Gauss units use gauss bullets. Turrets hold position and shoot targets in range, while combat drones can pursue enemies and follow their owner; drones have lower stats than their corresponding turrets. A separate storage drone acts as a flying inventory, and can attract items with an item-magnet upgrade. Units can be configured to target particular mobs, with options to exclude players or allow attacks against unaffiliated players, and drones can be set to follow, stay, or guard. Players can adjust unit health, range, armor, fire rate, and damage, while hoppers or adjacent inventories can supply ammunition. Upgrades add options such as fire resistance and player-like loot drops, while drones can also use lanterns and recall themselves to their owner when far away.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen., PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls. and World renderingChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing the terrain, sky, clouds and weather..
Adds 3 blocks, 28 items, 6 projectiles, 7 other entities, 29 recipes and 6 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
2 of its files for recent versions are not checked yet.
One of its files for recent versions cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 5 files we read
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Fewer modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 21 a month now, 35 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
894 modpacks include K-Turrets in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with K-Turrets. Share: how many of the modpacks with K-Turrets also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
