About
lazyyyyy is a performance mod aimed mainly at shortening launch times in large modpacks by using asynchronous and lazy loading so that work not immediately needed does not hold up startup. It speeds up mixin configuration and module setup, and can defer loading YACL images until they are rendered, entity, block-entity and player renderers until they are needed, and Entity Sound Features sound events until playback is requested. It also improves Kiwi manifest discovery and provides a resource cache for packs, including support for more pack types; this cache overlaps with a ModernFix function and disables that function when active. Other targeted improvements include initialization for WeaponMaster, model loading for Ice And Fire, config loading for Simply Swords and Every Compat: Wood Good, and model-baking event support for Puzzles Lib.
