    About

    Loot Journal is a client-side mod that makes item pickups easier to follow with animated on-screen notifications for items and experience. It can track your own pickups and those of nearby players in real time, with configurable player filters; nearby players can also hide their pickups with invisibility or a carved pumpkin, and tracking works on vanilla servers. Notifications use smart stacking, merging, and positioning to keep the display readable, while updated entries pulse and large pickup bursts are aggregated. The mod tracks total item counts, including items stored inside shulkers, sacks, and other containers, and can use special effects to highlight rare finds. Players can choose from built-in themes, including Classic, Minecraft Dungeons, and Minecraft Java styles, customize themes individually, or add new ones through resource packs. An in-game configuration system provides immediate feedback while adjusting the layout, position, animations, sounds, and filtering to suit the player's preferences.
