Allows datapacks and mods to modify loot tables instead of replacing them.
69.9 of the 71 points that apply = 98 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Loot Table Modifier lets datapacks and mods adjust existing Minecraft loot tables rather than replacing them, helping multiple projects make compatible changes to the same tables. Datapacks define modifiers as JSON rules with predicates that select tables, pools, or item entries, and actions that add or remove pools and entries, change an entry’s item, or add loot conditions. Predicates can target tables by identifier or type and item entries by item identifier, including regex patterns, and can be combined with inverted, any-of, and all-of logic. For example, modifiers can make creepers and zombies drop TNT, replace matching Minecraft ingots with diamonds, or add conditions such as requiring a squid to be killed by a player before it drops ink. The mod applies these changes during data loading, so it does not add processing overhead during normal gameplay; a datapack or mod using loot modifiers is needed for it to change anything.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas, as a library other mods build on: Game data and resourcesChanges 5 game code files in this area: recipes, tags, advancements, language files and other game data., Game coreChanges 1 game code file in this area: the main loop, lighting and other code the whole game uses. and Server and world logicChanges 1 game code file in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
The author declares on Modrinth that it sends crash reports or usage data unless you turn this off.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

Fewer modpacks put it in their new versions than a year ago: 3 a month now, 9 a year agoThe average of the last 6 months, compared with the same 6 months a year before. We say it only when the change is large..
46 modpacks include Loot Table Modifier in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with Loot Table Modifier. Share: how many of the modpacks with Loot Table Modifier also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
