    About

    MacOS Input Fixes corrects Minecraft input behavior on macOS, including making Control-click register as a left click and restoring reliable Control+Tab and Control+Escape detection. It improves mouse and trackpad scrolling by preventing trackpads from skipping through too many items, handling momentum scrolling more predictably, recognizing input only while fingers are on the trackpad, and fixing Shift-based scrolling on older mice. The mod also restores inertial scrolling in interfaces and lets either Control or Command modify the drop-item key, matching macOS keyboard behavior. Mouse settings let players adjust trackpad sensitivity, enable hotbar momentum scrolling, reverse scrolling for the game or hotbar, lock scrolling while attacking or using items, and toggle several macOS-specific fixes and interface options. Outside macOS, the mod otherwise does nothing, so it can be included in cross-platform modpacks.
