Catch, train, and battle Pokémon while exploring a blocky world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 76 graded mods, 68 are graded A or B, 8 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 12 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
The Cobblemon Official Modpack bundles Cobblemon for Fabric with performance, visual, audio, and quality-of-life improvements while keeping changes to ordinary Minecraft gameplay modest. Cobblemon lets players catch and train more than 800 Pokémon, battle using the Pokémon Showdown! engine, track discoveries in a scanning Pokédex, and use features such as move relearning, player-chosen evolution, and free movement during battles. Players can explore for fossils to revive, discover ancient structures and valuable chests, and grow, mulch, and cross-breed berries; brewed medicine offers stronger healing than its ingredients. The pack also adds practical interface and world tools, including EMI and JEI item and recipe viewers, Xaero’s minimap and world map, and performance optimizations such as Sodium, Lithium, and FerriteCore. Ambient and presentation touches include biome color variation, falling leaves, dynamic lights, enhanced particles and footsteps, with a recommended resource pack and shader pack available but disabled by default. The pack can connect to servers running Cobblemon and Fabric API, including vanilla Cobblemon servers.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 12 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 16 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 77 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 75 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 72 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
3 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with Cobblemon Official Modpack [Fabric]: their authors or the author of Cobblemon Official Modpack [Fabric] say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Cobblemon Official Modpack [Fabric], so you only need one.
