    Modopedia is a data-driven guidebook and in-game documentation mod that provides a framework for books about Minecraft topics and mod content. Books organise information into categories and topic entries, with entries made up of pages; authors can define the book’s basic properties separately from its localised content. Pages can combine reusable templates and individual components, including formatted text, tooltips, item galleries, crafting layouts, and rotating multiblock displays. Item galleries can show individual items, cycle through a set or tag, arrange displays in grids, or place them in rings. Authors can customise a book’s appearance with textures that define its dimensions, page layout, and interface widgets; Modopedia also includes 25 built-in textures. The Study key can quickly open the page for a specific item without extra setup, and component-level error handling helps isolate problems rather than invalidating an entire entry. Modopedia’s API and data-driven format let mod developers create customised books and extend them with their own book types, page components, and templates.
