More Minecarts and Rails expands rail transport into a flexible system for travel, redstone control, automation, and utility tasks. Its rail options include slower, cheaper wooden rails; fast maglev rails; extremely fast lightspeed rails that cannot turn or slope; turbo rails that boost carts on any track; and redstone-controlled turns, straight parallel tracks, crossings, and holographic rails. Color detector rails respond to matching colored signal flags, locking rails hold carts until triggered and can report their state to a comparator, and dimly glowing bioluminescent rails help illuminate routes. The mod adds controllable pushcarts, including wooden and aerodynamic models, as well as piston-equipped pushcarts that can raise or lower themselves using adjuster rails. Specialized carts include campfire and soul campfire carts, a spider cart that reels in distant items, and a signal cart that cycles through colored signals and works with signal switch rails. For logistics, loader and unloader blocks move items between carts and nearby storage, while tank and battery carts carry fluids and Forge Energy or Redstone Flux for loading and unloading at those blocks. A chunk-loader block keeps a 3-by-3 chunk area loaded while fueled, and a minecart version can be switched with activator rails; an ender-pearl stasis chamber stores a pearl until a redstone signal releases it and reports its stored state to a comparator. Other additions include mob springs that link vehicles or mobs, aerodynamic upgrade kits for non-wooden minecarts, and a Vitric Cactus that yields resources used for holographic rails and other items, plus a generator that projects free holographic scaffolds within 15 blocks.
