About
More Slabs, Stairs & Walls expands building choices by adding slab, stair, and wall versions of blocks that do not normally have them. Its additions cover materials such as bedrock, mangrove roots and muddy mangrove roots, polished basalt, chiseled quartz, deepslate, blackstone bricks and stone bricks, plus copper, tuff, and smooth stone variants. The new forms can generally be crafted with standard recipes or a stonecutter, and are also available in the creative inventory. They inherit behaviors from their parent blocks: sand, gravel, and concrete powder variants fall under gravity; grass spreads onto dirt forms; soul sand and magma forms create bubble columns; slime forms bounce entities and stick to pistons; and light-emitting, flammable, strippable, or oxidizing blocks retain those traits. Recipes also support useful material conversions and finishes, including turning logs into planks, waxing with honeycomb, dyeing wool and terracotta pieces, and smelting cracked or glazed variants. Grass forms can receive long grass through bone meal, while lower ice slabs and stairs make items and entities slippery.
