A modpack for exploring, building factories, and trying magic.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 250 graded mods, 212 are graded A or B, 32 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out 2.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.4. See the mods
NeoForge Foundry is a broad modpack for exploring, building, automation, and magic, with around 200 mods and a built-in endgame. Its survival gameplay adds thirst and temperature management, along with dangerous new mobs. Players can explore the BlueSkies dimension and Ad Astra planets, discover new structures and biomes including those from Biomes O’ Plenty, and use Occultism for magic. For technology and automation, the pack includes Modern Industrialization and Mekanism, while Refined Storage and Applied Energistics 2 provide storage options. WAILA, a minimap, and graves add convenience, and Embeddium improves performance.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.4 · NeoForge, 26 Jun 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 13 May 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 254 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 254 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 13 of the 214 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
40 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
