A zombie survival pack with dangerous hordes and harsh wilderness.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 44 graded mods, 24 are graded A or B, 15 C and 5 D to F. Its last update came out 4 months ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Zombie Apocalypse: Reborn is a survival-focused modpack built around lasting through a zombie apocalypse, with its configuration intended to create a 100-day challenge. It refreshes the world with varied landscapes, including open grass fields and forests, alongside Dramatic Trees, Lost Cities, Worley’s Caves, and ocean-focused content from Oceanic Expanse. Survival is made harsher by thirst, hypothermia, and heatstroke, while Zombie Awareness makes zombies more intelligent and persistent hunters. The pack also includes practical exploration and survival additions such as Traveler’s Backpack, and emphasizes performance optimization alongside its visual and world-generation changes.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 11 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 18 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 47 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 47 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 47 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
1 other mod shows AI use only from after this release (11 Jul 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
