Ore Tweaker is a utility mod for customizing underground and ore generation through JSON data files, letting players and modpack makers disable existing ores, change their generation, or add generation for other blocks. Each entry can control the block to generate and what it replaces, the vertical range, vein size, attempts per chunk, and biome allowlists or denylists; biome filters can use biome names or Forge biome categories such as MOUNTAIN. This makes it possible to shape distinct spawns for the same ore, such as large iron veins in mountains, smaller veins in desert sandstone, and a separate distribution elsewhere. Custom entries can also generate blocks in unusual settings, with documented examples including bone-block veins near bedrock, lava pools in desert biomes, and glass among oak leaves. The mod creates example configuration templates, including defaults for ores and underground blocks such as coal, copper, diamond, ancient debris, granite, and tuff, as well as presets for removing ores, stones, or generation across the Overworld and Nether. It works with modded ores that use Minecraft’s standard ore-generation system, but mods with their own custom generation cannot generally be adjusted through it by default.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.18.2.
Changes the game's code in 1 area: World generationChanges 1 game code file in this area: terrain, biomes and structures made when new land is created..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.7.10 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
