Plenty of Golems adds more than 20 original golems to Minecraft, giving players a roster of companions with distinct appearances and abilities. The roster spans minions, small and medium golems, giants, First of golems, and ancient golems; small and medium types can be made, while giants and First of types are found in the world. Small golems offer varied utility and combat: the Candle Golem gives off light and sets enemies on fire, the Composter Golem bonemeals nearby ground with seeds, and the Bookshelf Golem fires books that can be replenished. Medium golems include the rideable Endstone Golem, the Honey Golem that slows enemies and may call bees, and the Smithing Golem, which can be upgraded from iron to diamond using the matching block. Other medium types bring different ways to fight, such as the Powder Snow Golem’s slowing snowballs, the Mud Golem’s trapping puddle, and the Bone Golem’s wither skulls and ability to summon minions. Found giants include the Dark Oak Golem, which makes area attacks, and the Amethyst Golem, whose raygun pierces targets; First of types add further encounters, from the arrow-firing First of Dispenser to the First of the Village, which stuns enemies over a wide area. At the top end, the hostile Ancient of Prismarine combines strong melee and explosive ranged attacks with an armor-ignoring area attack, while the Guardian of the Deep releases a shockwave when hurt. Some golems can also deploy smaller allies: the First of the Dungeon summons melee Andesite Golemins, and the Bone Golem can summon three kinds of minion, including ranged Flockerskets that set enemies on fire. Golems can follow their owners in multiplayer, and many can be healed using associated materials such as honeycomb for the Candle Golem, bamboo for the Bamboo Golem, or bones for the Bone Golem.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 blocks, 113 items, 81 entities, 12 structures, 9 recipes, 23 advancements, 1 loot table, 12 sounds and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
