Random PSIdeas is an addon for Psi, a spell-programming mod, that expands the tools and spell components players can use to build and cast spells while staying within Psi’s theme; it also includes a port of Psionic Upgrades. Its additions include CAD cores and assemblies with different complexity, projection, efficiency, potency, and cooldown trade-offs, along with batteries that alter PSI regeneration, storage, and how the user responds to damage. Players can store or swap spells with items such as the Spell Magazine, cast a stored spell through the Flash Ring, or use an Inline Caster to hold an extra spell; the Gauss Rifle fires rounds that can inflict damage and Psishock. Other equipment makes spells respond to actions: Psimetal shields trigger them when blocking, fishing rods when catching fish or reeling in enemies, and hoes when tilling; Integrated Battlecasters let Psimetal or Flowtools cast on striking an enemy. The addon adds spell tricks for tasks such as tilling, planting, smelting or moving blocks, deploying an elytra, creating lights or holographic text, and calming mobs or detonating nearby charges, as well as selectors and operators for raycasts, entities, vectors, and world data. It also includes colored Psimetal Flow Plates and CAD Cases in 16 color variants, with the cases able to store a Gauss Rifle or CAD alongside a socketable item. Mod integrations add a Botania Blaster CAD for mana-related tricks and lens support, two Tinkers’ Construct modifiers that enable spell casting on block break or entity hit, and an Avaritia recipe for the Creative CAD.
Written from CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
Adds 51 blocks, 65 items, 1 projectile, 5 other entities, 103 recipes and 2 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
