Sully’s Mod adds configurable, vanilla-inspired features intended to bring a mix of new activities and tools to explorers, builders, and redstone players. Its additions span mobs, items, redstone components, and decorative or collectible content, including Jade equipment, Copper Buttons, Lanternfish, Tortoises, Jungle Spiders, Bouldering Zombies, artifacts, and music discs. Players can find Jade Ore in jungle biomes, polish Rough Jade at a grindstone, and use the resulting material for blocks, a Potion of Luck, a Jade Shield, or Jade Horse Armor. Polished Jade blocks, shields, and horse armor can bounce projectiles, while the Flinger Totem redirects incoming projectiles out of its front and can be set to delay its output with honeycomb. Copper Buttons provide redstone pulses that grow longer as the copper oxidizes, from 10 ticks when unaffected to 40 when fully oxidized. The mod also adds grindstone polishing, which lets players process designated blocks and items for experience, and a Tortoise Shell that can be launched or thrown to bounce off targets, damage them, and stun Ravagers. Its creatures have distinct behaviors: Lanternfish glow in dark water and avoid light, Jungle Spiders are neutral unless provoked or it is nighttime and deliver both a beneficial and harmful venom effect, and Tortoises withdraw into their shells when threatened. Bouldering Zombies can climb and appear in deepslate layers; an optional built-in resource pack also retextures vanilla zombie variants. Most features can be enabled or disabled through the mod’s configuration, with options that can, for example, adjust mob spawning and the velocity of projectiles bouncing off Jade blocks.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas: World generationChanges 1 game code file in this area: terrain, biomes and structures made when new land is created., Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen. and Blocks and fluidsChanges 1 game code file in this area: how blocks, fluids and redstone work..
A library packed inside it changes 1 more game code file: MosaicCosmetics.
Adds 86 blocks, 80 items, 6 mobs, 1 other entity, 178 recipes, 15 advancements, 9 loot tables and 80 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
