About
Switch-Bow adds an improved bow, a crossbow, quivers and more than 35 specialized arrows, letting players choose different effects for combat and utility. The Switch-Bow searches the player’s inventory and quiver for ammunition, and players can switch the selected arrow while sneaking; its Pull-Speed enchantment increases firing speed, while the Switch-Crossbow has a Reduce Cooldown enchantment. The regular quiver holds up to nine stacks of arrows, and the Big-Quiver holds up to 18; arrows can be sorted into a quiver from the inventory, and a quiver can be opened with a right-click. Arrow effects include piercing, knockback, bouncing and three-arrow volleys, as well as teleportation, levitation, freezing, withering, healing the shooter through damage dealt, and summoning a temporary mini iron golem on impact. Other arrows can create lightning, explosions or dragon breath, start fires, place torches, extinguish fire, turn lava into obsidian, fertilize blocks, provide underwater performance, or make animals ready to breed and distract hostile enemies. An Arrow-Dispenser fires arrows from a redstone signal or a redstone-torch interaction, with configurable flight paths and shot counts, but cannot fire teleport, vampire or triple arrows. Players can transform selected arrows at a pedestal built into a quartz, obsidian and magma-block structure; transformations include area-effect versions of bone, burial, air and love arrows, plus upgraded thunder, fire, silver and luck arrows. Configuration options include bow and crossbow attributes, crafting recipes, arrow Infinity, the scope view, fire from lightning strikes and whether TNT-arrow explosions destroy blocks.
