    About

    TACT is a configuration and compatibility add-on for Alex’s Caves, letting players and modpack makers tune existing mechanics rather than adding a separate set of caves or creatures. Its settings cover the Primitive Club’s stun duration, Nuclear Furnace smelting speed, Subterranodon flight-meter recharge and depletion, Dreadbow arrow counts, Cloak of Darkness use in bright light, Raygun damage, and Extinction Spear melee and ranged damage. It also provides controls for the health, armor, and attack damage of nearly all Alex’s Caves mobs, as well as Tremorzilla’s regeneration, step height, and walking block griefing. Other options can make Guano, Guano Blocks, and Guano Layers usable as furnace fuel; disable Alex’s Caves’ End Story replacement after the Ender Dragon is defeated; unlock every Cave Compendium page on login; or allow Biome Treats to be eaten when the player is not hungry. Gobthumpers can be configured to spawn Gum Worms from Candy Cavity, or to stop spawning them while still attracting nearby worms; Underweed, Tree Star, Fiddlehead, and Curly Fern can also be replaced by player-placed blocks. For compatibility, TACT adds Alex’s Caves biomes to the relevant overworld tag, marks Forlorn Hollows, Magnetic Caves, Primordial Caves, Toxic Caves, and Cavity Caves as caves, and marks Primordial Caves as lush. It also tags Galena and Radrock as stone crafting and tool materials, and exposes tags that let packmakers make entities immune to Primitive Club stuns or specify armor that resists radiation and acid.
