The Deep Void is a horror-adventure mod that adds an endgame dimension of hostile and peaceful life, exploration, survival challenges, and clues to the history of a lost civilization and its cult. Players reach the dimension by falling through a bedrock opening in the Overworld or into the End’s void, or by being carried there by an Abductor; a Void Pendant provides a way back. Its distinct biomes include the smoke-vented, lava-geysered Ashen Crags, the liquid-void Befouled Marsh, the Bone Crawler breeding grounds of Crawler Nest, the fleshlands of Gloomy Deathgrounds and Staring Hills, and the maze-like Drifting Monoliths. The inhabitants range from wandering Damned and peaceful, mournful Mourners to camouflaged Fool Eaters, bone-dwelling Bone Crawlers, and Abductors that can seize a player and send them to the dimension. Light is a precarious defense: many creatures try to destroy nearby light sources, while prolonged darkness draws the Stalker, which warns players before appearing and can be evaded or repelled with light, a Flare Gun, or a thrown Stalker Treat. Progression is focused on defeating bosses, whose roster includes the Weaver of Souls, Apostle of Catastrophe, Primordial Bone Crawler, and False Hydra; their battles feature complex attack patterns and unlock access to further content. Mid-to-late progression also uses the Glutton Block to turn fed materials into resources, including Deep Void materials from Desolate Soil, and a Shatterbone Pickaxe to mine Rough Voidrium for powerful gear. Players can also hatch and raise Bone Crawlers from eggs, feeding them bones and other materials as they grow; a mature Mother Bone Crawler can be ridden.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 473 blocks, 577 items, 82 mobs, 1 projectile, 56 other entities, 17 biomes, 2 dimensions, 80 structures, 16 enchantments, 896 recipes, 61 advancements, 72 loot tables, 214 sounds and 14 key bindings.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 24 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 3 points.
