Thirst Was Taken adds a survival thirst system, with hydration and quenchness stats alongside the hunger bar; exertion such as sprinting, swimming, jumping, and mining, as well as healing, drains hydration. Dehydration varies with biome conditions: hot and arid environments speed it up, cold or humid ones slow it down, and the Nether triples the rate; Cold Sweat can supply its more precise temperature calculations. Players restore hydration with drinks and, in smaller amounts, water-rich foods, while configurable settings can also allow drinking directly from running or still water. Water has four purity levels determined by where it is collected, and drinking less-purified water can cause sickness or poisoning; campfires improve purity by one level and furnaces by two. With Create installed, the Sand Filter processes piped water, improving its purity by one level for pumping out. The mod integrates thirst-quenching foods and drinks from Farmer’s Delight, Farmer’s Respite, and Brewin’ and Chewin’, including teas such as Create’s Builder’s Tea; these drinks can also appear as structure loot, with examples including Mead and Black Tea in shipwrecks, Apple Cider in mineshafts, and Vodka in dungeons. AppleSkin integration adds hydration and quenchness information to item tooltips and shows thirst-bar details, while configuration lets players adjust which items quench thirst or add their own.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with Thirst Was Taken: their authors or Thirst Was Taken's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Thirst Was Taken, so you only need one.
