Tinkers' Complement is an addon for Tinkers' Construct that adds modular features and cross-mod compatibility, including blocks to split smelting and alloying into more automatable components for modpack progression. Its melter offers an earlier, smaller alternative to a smeltery: it melts ores and ingots into casting liquids, but does not double ores or combine liquids, and can run on lava or on furnace fuels through a heater. An alloy tank automates alloying using fuel from a heater or lava tank and fluid inputs from up to five seared tanks or melters; redstone can switch it off. With Ceramics installed, porcelain versions of the melter, casting table and basin, heater, tanks, and alloy tank provide alternatives to seared blocks. The high oven is a multiblock structure for producing steel, knightslime, and pig iron from fuel chemicals and additives, and can also superheat water into a fluid capable of melting soft metals in a smeltery. The addon also adds steel armor with improved durability and toughness, bouncing knightslime armor, and highly protective but less durable manyullyn armor. When Chisel is installed, players can make a modifiable Tinkers' Construct chisel; with Ex Nihilo installed, they can use a sledge hammer for its hammer recipes and apply mining modifiers to it.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
Adds 75 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.11.2 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
