About
Moar Tinkers expands Tinkers’ Construct with 63 additional tool-material types, 43 of which have traits, drawing on materials from a range of other mods. Examples include metals such as Enderium, Iridium, Signalum, Osmium, and Dark Steel; gems and crystals such as Ruby, Sapphire, Certus Quartz, and Fluix Crystal; and specialized materials including Manasteel, Psimetal, Dark Matter, and Draconium. Many additions are associated with mods such as Mekanism, Ender IO, Botania, Psi, ProjectE, and Draconic Evolution, while some materials can also be made in the Part Builder. Material traits add varied effects: some repair tools using stored energy, mana, or psi, while others consume those resources to improve mining speed and damage; additional traits can boost critical hits, react to low health, teleport items, or alter combat and mining behavior. The trait set also includes unusual or risky effects, such as causing hunger or radiation poisoning, healing enemies when they are hit, launching or shocking them, and making a tool’s performance depend on light conditions.
