    toucanLib is a shared helper library for jvn’s Minecraft mods, providing reusable code rather than adding gameplay of its own. Its utilities cover common setup and platform checks, resource IDs and datapack JSON, item selectors and weighted tables, cooldowns and placement, plus client-side animation, colors, camera, HUD, scrolling UI, and player-skin resolution. Client helpers also support progressive compact or expanded tooltips, item-state cycling, and hovered-slot interactions with configurable handling and standard confirmation or rejection feedback. The library includes reusable rendering and networking support, including sky-dome generation, crosshair cooldown indicators, and loader-specific networking helpers. It is used as a required dependency by some of jvn’s mods, and provides corresponding Fabric and NeoForge builds.
