Turtlemancy is a turtle-themed magic mod that adds ways to use turtle magic to aid a Minecraft adventure. Players begin by crafting the Turtlenomicon, gathering oysters from oyster-sand blocks on beaches, and finding scute in beach sand; both oyster and scute generation can be adjusted in the config. A turtle chooses a player as a turtlemancer when they bow and meet its gaze, while magmatic turtles can be found in the Nether and bred with crimson or warped roots. Turtlemy uses a water-filled turtle cauldron for equivalent-exchange recipes without heating the water or risking the ingredients, and some recipes require creature essence collected with a glass bottle. Players can craft wands and charge them with turtle blessings to cast spells, while rituals can summon creatures or improve items; one ritual trades redstone for item repairs. Other additions include turtle armor sets with full-set bonuses, curios with effects described in the guide, a turtle boat, MineTurtle, a turtle bowl that extends meal effects, and pearls that can locate Nether Fortresses, villages, pillager outposts, and ocean monuments. The Shell of Encapsulation can catch non-monster creatures, and the Bedrock Pickaxe can mine bedrock at the cost of substantial durability.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 8 blocks, 61 items, 1 mob, 1 boat, 1 enchantment, 50 recipes, 14 advancements and 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found in the parts we could check
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
One of its files cannot be checked: its author does not let other sites download it from CurseForge.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends, in the 2 of its 3 files we read
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
